Marc Alan Levy, of Boynton Beach, finished seventh in the state’s first poker tournament with officially sanctioned higher stakes. The event ended Sunday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Levy won $26,500.

. After months of anticipation the World Series of Poker has begun. On Friday it was shuffle up and deal time. The first game of this years WSOP was the $10,000 pot limit holdem. The tournament started with 352 players putting up the $10k buyin. After two days of play and lots of excitement it was down to the final table.
